Junior Gymnastics

Boys & Girls Ages 1 - 5

Toddler, Preschool & Kindergarten

  • Jr. Gymnastics classes will need one parent or adult to aid the gymnast during class.
  • Your child will play and learn in a safe and secure environment.
  • Instructors will direct children through activities that develop gross motor skills, improve listening skills, and accommodate short attention spans.
  • Children have FUN learning basic gymnastics skills on vault, balance beam, floor exercise, kinderbars and kindertrampoline while interacting with instructors and new friends.
    Small class sizes allow for individualized instruction for each child's skill level.
  • Scholarships are available.

We are opening our Jr. Gymnastics Area for parent/child unstructured play time.

Stage A: Discovery Tots

Ages 1 - 2 Years | Parent & Child

30 Minute Class / Once a Week

Lightly Structured / Adult Assisted

You will help your child in exploring, climbing, and socializing in a safe and fun environment. Children will develop gross motor skills while having opportunities to move, play, and learn. This child-led class is designed to build their confidence and encourage curiosity.

What to Expect:

Enjoy a lightly structured 30-minute class featuring soft mats and equipment for your child to climb, slide, jump, and explore. Their are  stations with pictures, providing a visual guide, for your child to try.

We ask that you:

  • Wait in the hallway with your child until their class is called.
  • Interact and assist your child during class.

Structured / Adult Assisted

You will guide your child through a structured lesson, fostering the development of self-confidence as movers and instilling essential life skills such as listening, following directions, taking turns, and sharing. In this engaging environment, children will enhance their coordination, balance, and agility while learning gymnastics skills.

What to Expect:

Experience a structured 30-minute class with two circuits of stations that introduce the basics of gymnastics. You will help your child follow numbered pictures that provide a visual guide at each station.

We ask that you:

  • Wait in the hallway with your child until their class is called.
  • Help your child understand the directions given by the teacher.
  • Guide your child through the stations in order.

Stage C: Preschool

For 3-4 year olds able to stay on task.

You will assist your child through a structured lesson designed to improve body awareness and boost self-confidence. In this program, children will acquire basic gymnastics skills on the vault, balance beam, floor exercise, and bars, while also developing valuable social skills.

What to Expect:

Experience a structured 30-minute class with two circuits of timed stations, instructing children in the basics of gymnastics and body control. You and your child will follow numbered pictures, remaining at each station until the teacher prompts participants to switch.

We ask that you:

  • Wait in the hallway with your child until their class is called.
  • Encourage your child to listen to the teacher and follow station order.
  • Assist in keeping your child on task at each station.

You will support your child through a structured lesson encompassing basic gymnastics progressions on bars, beam, floor, vault, and trampoline. Children will learn to follow multi-step directions, communicate with peers, and enhance strength and flexibility while acquiring fundamental gymnastics skills in a fun and safe environment.

What to Expect:

A structured 45 minute class with 2 circuits of timed stations. These stations are designed to progress their skills and develop new skills. Adult and child will follow numbered pictures and stay at each station till the teacher asks you to switch.

45 Minute Class / Once a Week

Structured / Parent Present

Requirements: Successful completion of Stage D/Jr. Gymnastics 1 and ability to work independently.

You will watch your gymnast as they practice their skills on the balance beam, vault, floor exercise, trampoline and bars as they navigate working independently through a circuit.  This class is intended to prepare children for our school-age progressive program.

What to Expect:

Experience a structured 45 minute class with two circuits of timed stations. These stations are designed to progress their skills and develop new skills. The children will follow numbered pictures and stay at each station until the teacher asks them to switch.

We ask that you:

  • Wait in the hallway with your child until their class is called.
  • Encourage your gymnasts to follow directions and stay on task.
  • Be present, ready, and willing to assist if needed to guide youy gymnasts in successfully learning to work independently.
