Volunteer
YMCA volunteers are a force for good in local communities and beyond. With tens of thousands of dedicated and passionate volunteers across the nation, we are able to positively impact lives in significant and lasting ways.
Across the U.S., more than 230,000 people volunteer at the Y. That’s thousands of neighbors, business leaders, parents, teens, community advocates and individuals who want to give back. Y volunteers give people of all ages—from all walks of life—the resources and support they need to be healthy, confident, connected and secure. Our volunteers are critical to implementing everything that happens at the Y and in their communities.
Without volunteers we could not provide our community with the extensive services and programs we currently offer.
Our YMCA offers year-round volunteer opportunities for members and non-members from the community and surrounding areas to give back and help build a better community within our Y.

Events
Volunteer with our Y staff on various special event needs like Healthy Kids Day, Red Cross Blood Donation Events and Sports Meets.
Youth Lobby
Work with children in our Youth Lobby, playing games, helping with homework and helping them stay engaged.
Youth Sports
Coaches are always needed for our Youth Sports programs. If you have a background in soccer, basketball, football or just enjoy helping kids reach their potencial, we need you!
Camp
Perform spring prep work for summer camps or season clean-up. Bring positive energy as you lead children in day camp as a junior counselor (ages 14-17).
Child Care
Mini-Care helps parents get a break and work on their health. Assist our staff by engaging with children in our drop-in child care facilities. Minimum age of 18.
Community Garden
